TERMS OF SERVICE

We take great joy in our work and are eager to assist with a wide range of cleaning tasks to serve our customers. However, in order to uphold a consistent level of quality, there are certain boundaries on the services we can provide:

  1. We reserve the authority to discontinue any service, without exception. Any instance of racism, sexism, or disrespect directed towards our staff will lead to an immediate and permanent discontinuation of our services.

  2. Ensuring the health and safety of our staff is our top priority. Therefore, our staff members are not permitted to:

    • Climbing to heights beyond what a three-step ladder can reach;

    • Moving or lifting heavy furniture that requires additional assistance;

    • Cleaning biohazardous substances, including animal or human waste;

    • Cleaning areas infested with insects;

    • Cleaning areas with mold;

    • Engaging in tasks that could compromise their health or safety in any way.

  3. We want to emphasize that we cannot be held responsible for the health and safety of your pets. While we take great care and caution around your pets, you are ultimately the one who can best ensure their safety and overall well-being.

  4. Our maids take reasonable care during the cleaning process. We carry insurance to cover damage or breakage caused by our maids. However, we cannot be held liable for damage due to "normal wear and tear," improper installation of items, or for valuable items such as artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms worth over $200 that were not disclosed when making the appointment. If you notice any damage or potential damage after our maids have left, please notify Superb Maids within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning. We will strive to address the issue and find a fair resolution. Here are some specific examples of items and situations:

    • Carpet & Rug Snags: Snags are a result of normal wear and tear, vacuuming, or moving furniture. We use industry-standard vacuums to minimize this, but we'll avoid problem areas as best as we can.

    • Broken Blinds: Cleaning blinds carries inherent risks due to sun exposure and aging, which can make them brittle. Strings may weaken over time, causing breaks.

    • Improperly Hung Items: Securely hung pictures and decorations shouldn't fall during dusting or wiping.

    • Valuable Items: Artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms valued over $200 are at your own risk. Please inform us in writing if such items are present.

    • Special Furniture: Please notify us if your woodwork, wooden furniture, vintage/antique wood furniture, or unfinished furniture requires special care or cleaning products. You can also provide specific cleaning products for certain items, such as leather furniture or pianos.

    Please understand that while we take precautions, certain factors are beyond our control, and communication about special items and concerns is essential for a successful cleaning experience.

  5. Access to electricity and water is essential for our cleaning services. If your utilities are not functioning, we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when they are back up and running.

  6. In cases where the home is severely damaged or cluttered, such as broken glass, excessive clutter, or resembling a hoarder's living space, we can still work to bring it to a livable and habitable condition. However, please be aware that the final result may not match the level of cleanliness we achieve in a typical home. Before starting the job and upon arriving at the location, we will have a thorough discussion about the situation. We may also take photographs before and after the cleaning process, which could be used within our company for analysis and improvement purposes. We might also share these photos on our social media, but rest assured that they will not include any identifiable information – just images of areas like sinks, stoves, vacant spaces, etc. This process helps us strategize and enhance our services while respecting your privacy.

  7. We meticulously organize our appointments, and any sudden cancellations or rescheduling can cause significant disruptions and financial setbacks for both our company and our staff. To address this, we have implemented a 48-hour notice requirement for cancellations or rescheduling, accompanied by a $100 fee. However, there are circumstances where we may consider waiving this fee, such as if we can fill the appointment slot with another client or in the case of a genuine and compelling reason for the cancellation.

  8. By engaging Superb Maids' services, you commit not to seek employment for any staff member introduced to you by Superb Maids for any home-related tasks. Our team members undergo a thorough process of recruitment, interviews, reference and background checks, and training. Upon hiring, they sign an agreement that prevents them from providing home-related services to our current or past clients. Should you have the intention to directly employ one of our staff members, please discuss this matter with the owner. It's important to note that soliciting our staff members may incur a referral/training fee of $5,000 per hired employee. We hold our employees in high regard and this fee reflects their significant value to us.

  9. You agree to protect, indemnify, and hold Superb Maids and its associated entities, agents, licensors, managers, and other related companies, along with their employees, owners, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, harmless from any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including legal fees) that may arise from: (i) your utilization of any cleaning services provided to you by Superb Maids; (ii) any alleged or actual property loss or damage (including damage to your residence) resulting from the execution of Superb Maids' cleaning services.

  10. Superb Maids does not guarantee, endorse, or assume responsibility for the cleaning services or any resulting damages. The service, including our cleaning offerings, is provided "as is" and "as available." Your use of the service is your own choice and risk. We provide the service without warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quality, or non-infringement. Superb Maids, its subsidiaries, and licensors do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or correctness of the service, its suitability for your needs, or its continuous availability, uninterrupted operation, or security.
